This two-day, treatment- focused intensive is for mental health professionals only, focusing on the specifics of treatment for survivors. The course content outline is available here.
Requirements:
- Taking and passing the pre-requisite class, The Clinician’s Guide.
- The treatment intensive also requires a master’s degree or higher in a psychology, or psychology-related field at an accredited institution.
- And it requires Trauma Certification.
This field, in its clinical application and theory, falls under the ‘Traumatic Stress Studies’ field, thus, is trauma-treatment oriented, requiring trauma certification. If you do not have trauma certification, you can easily attain it through PESI.com or Evergreencertifications.com.
