This training became available in July 2021 as a digital online two-day in- depth training. Take it at your convenience. This training is a pre-requisite for not only the next training coming up in late 2021, Treating the Survivor of Narcissistic and Psychopathic Abuse: A Clinical, Evidence-Based, Best Practices, and Trauma-Informed Model of Care Approach, but also the certification that currently is in development.

Treating the Survivor of Narcissistic and Psychopathic Abuse: A Clinical, Evidence-Based, Best Practices, and Trauma-Informed Model of Care Approach

This two-day, treatment- focused intensive is for mental health professionals only, focusing on the specifics of treatment for survivors. The course content outline is available here. 

Requirements:

  1. Taking and passing the pre-requisite class, The Clinician’s Guide. 
  2. The treatment intensive also requires a master’s degree or higher in a psychology, or psychology-related field at an accredited institution. 
  3. And it requires Trauma Certification. 

This field, in its clinical application and theory, falls under the ‘Traumatic Stress Studies’ field, thus, is trauma-treatment oriented, requiring trauma certification. If you do not have trauma certification, you can easily attain it through PESI.com or Evergreencertifications.com
